FRAMELINE44 AWARDS SEASON
Frameline44 Juried and Audience Awards will be announced at the end of our September Festival and will consider films both from the June Frameline44 Pride Showcase, and the regular Septemeber Frameline44 San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival.

FRAMELINE43 AT&T AUDIENCE AWARDS
Since 1984 our audience has been responsible for awarding a select few films to receive the AT&T Audience Awards!

At Frameline43, attendees voted for  Best Feature FilmBest Documentary Film,  Best Episodic, and  Best Short Film. Putting the power in the audience's hands, the Frameline43 AT&T Audience Awards bestowed cash prizes to the favorite Feature ($1000), Documentary ($1000), Episodic ($500) and Short ($500) in the Festival.

FRAMELINE'S JURIED AWARDS
Frameline has a long history of supporting outstanding films and filmmakers, and we continued that tradition with our  Frameline43 First Feature presented by Wells Fargo, and Best Documentary awards.

FRAMELINE AWARD
Established in 1986, the  Frameline Award is given every year to a person or entity that has made a major contribution to LGBTQ+ representation in film, television, or the media arts. Past honorees range from film historian and author Vito Russo, to Hong Kong director Stanley Kwan, avant-garde lesbian filmmaker Barbara Hammer, drag artiste extraordinaire Divine, actor-activist George Takei, producer Christine Vachon, long-time leader of the Festival and the organization Michael Lumpkin, and producer/distributor Marcus Hu. 

In 2019, Frameline's Board and Staff presented the  Frameline Award to Rodney Evans.
