On October 23, Frameline presents a Virtual screening of 50 Years of Fabulous, Jethro Patalinghing's award-winning feature documentary which chronicles the founding, history and profound impact of the world’s oldest LGBT charity organization and its' beloved founder José Julio Sarria.
Featuring Virtual Drag performances by members of the Imperial Council of San Francisco including reigning Empress Mimi Osa, and their majesties Absolute Empresses Khmera Rouge, Emma Peel, Mercedez Munro, and Pollo Del Mar, it's an evening of royal entertainment not to be missed. It all kicks off at 7 pm PST on Friday, October 23.
The event will also feature a post-screening panel discussion with esteemed members of the International Imperial Court including Empress Nicole the Great, Queen Mother of the Americas and current and former Empresses and Emperors of San Francisco exploring the more- relevant –than- ever impact of this vital organization.
