Founded in 1977, the San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, hosted by Frameline, is the longest-running, largest, and most widely recognized queer film exhibition in the world. In June 2026, we celebrated five decades of queer media at Frameline50, welcoming 50,000 attendees and over 600 filmmakers and industry professionals to the Bay Area. Now, we’re excited to kick off 50 more years (and beyond), starting with Frameline51 in 2027.

Join us from June 16–26, 2027 for Frameline51 — 11 days of film screenings, parties, networking events, and industry panels at venues in San Francisco, Berkeley, and Oakland.
Frameline has been a cornerstone of LGBTQ+ storytelling and community for five decades. As we plan for the next 50 years, visit our Sponsorship page to learn more about our current Festival sponsors and all of our partnership opportunities.

The submission window for the 51st San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival will open on October 21, 2026.
