Applications for the Frameline50 Volunteer Screening Committee are now closed. If you submitted an application, our Programming Team will be in touch with you in the coming weeks.

Each year, volunteers on the Screening Committee support our Programming Team’s curation of the San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival by watching and reporting on films that have been submitted for consideration.
From cinephiles to industry professionals to dedicated Frameline Members, our past Screening Committees encompass a broad range of film-loving folks. Plus, we’re always looking for fresh perspectives, so even if you don’t have a background in film, we encourage you to apply.
Oftentimes, Volunteer Screeners are the first to watch a submission, so, above all, we’re looking for dedicated folks who can commit to watching and reviewing their weekly assignments in a timely manner (January—April 2026).
