Who says lesbians don’t have a sense of humor? Certainly not the creators — or viewers — of this comedic collection of shorts.
Long Ago is a lesbian dramedy about heartache and the ultimate fashion faux pas — the rat tail. In LESBIANS: the music video, electro-cult comic Clay Drinko sings his praises to the lesbians of the world. Local lesbians discuss their dog obsessions and its impact on their sex lives in Dykes and Dogs: A Bedtime Story, while in Sugar in the Blood a spurned girlfriend tries desperately to find a sexy girl in the park to exact her revenge. Make Room for Phyllis is a short comedy about one woman’s attempted journey through polyamory. In Fine and Dandy, a woman struggling to find happiness hopes to attract the attention of a potential female suitor through nineteenth-century social etiquette. The Incredible Dyke is a loving tribute to superheroes, ’70s television and biker chicks. In Members Only, Amy is the new kid in town and can’t seem to get a date or even a woman to look in her direction — until she meets power lesbian Joan Fox.
