Monica, a quirky former Olympic athlete (she might be referred to as “Psycho Monica” around the clubs) awakes after a wild night out to find Nines, a gorgeous bartender and aspiring artist who has a way with the ladies, asleep beside her. While Monica fantasizes about her moving in, Nines tries for a quick escape. The plot thickens as on her way out, Nines meets Carmen, Monica’s soon-to-be-ex-roommate. Not surprisingly, sparks fly. Too bad Carmen is set to move in with her boyfriend, Jorge.

It’s not long before Ana, a wide-eyed girl from the country, overwhelmed with curiosity, arrives to take Carmen’s former room and the tangled web of Sapphic limbs and hearts continues to intertwine. As their lives comically, passionately and tragically intersect, the adventure begins. These characters have an infectious sincerity that exudes depth and reality without having to try too hard.
