Jumpstart Pride weekend with drag icon Alaska, who will be gracing us with an onstage Q&A at the Castro Theatre before performing at our official post-screening party at Oasis.
Pull up a pillow and blanket for quick-witted queer group therapy, featuring a veritable roster of Drag Race royalty: Alaska, Laganja Estranja, Kelly Mantle, Manilla Luzon, and even Michelle Visage herself. Expanding the 2022 short film Marmalade, which centered on Mantle’s veteran drag artist on the verge of a nervous breakdown, actor Jordan Danger (Syfy’s Eureka) makes her feature directorial debut with this winning tale of four LA queens trying to get their careers back on track after a series of PR disasters. Join this fierce (but unstable) quartet as they find themselves in a (maybe not-so) accidental (but definitely) queer group therapy retreat in the desert as they reveal witty, dramatic, and ultimately heartfelt adventures through showbiz, fandom, and aging that will change each of their lives forever.
God Save the Queens also features a robust supporting ensemble cast which includes newcomer Jordan Michael Green, Peter Facinelli, Vicky Vox, Joaquim de Almeida, Julie Goldman, and the always incredible Luenell as the guru tasked to save these queens.
